BACKCOUNTRY PREP

This 6-week strength and trail conditioning program prepares athletes to take on Idaho’s backcountry with confidence. Whether you're interested in hiking, hunting, rucking, or exploring rugged terrain, this program helps you build a stronger, more durable body and the mindset to match. You'll train alongside a cohort of athletes from Mission43 and Challenged Athletes Foundation-Idaho.

The program includes in-gym functional fitness and optional trail training days, all leading up to a final outdoor immersion event.

Program Schedule:

FORGED Together: Backcountry Prep will run for 6 weeks with two required in-gym sessions and two optional hike days per week.

Due to high demand, there will now be two cohorts for the FORGED Together: Backcountry Prep program.

Cohort I

  • Monday & Wednesday | 6:30 AM – Gym Sessions (Required)

  • Tuesday & Thursday | 6:30 AM – Trail Training (Optional)

  • Friday | 6:30 AM – Swim, Recovery, or Rest Day

Cohort II

  • Monday & Wednesday | 6:30 AM – Trail Training (Optional)

  • Tuesday & Thursday | 6:30 AM – Gym Sessions (Required)

  • Friday | 6:30 AM – Swim, Recovery, or Rest Day
