BACKCOUNTRY PREP

This 6-week strength and trail conditioning program prepares athletes to take on Idaho’s backcountry with confidence. Whether you're interested in hiking, hunting, rucking, or exploring rugged terrain, this program helps you build a stronger, more durable body and the mindset to match. You'll train alongside a cohort of athletes from Mission43 and Challenged Athletes Foundation-Idaho.

The program includes in-gym functional fitness and optional trail training days, all leading up to a final outdoor immersion event.

Program Schedule:

FORGED Together: Backcountry Prep will run for 6 weeks with two required in-gym sessions and two optional hike days per week.

  • Monday & Wednesday | 6:30 AM – Gym Sessions (Required)

  • Tuesday & Thursday | 6:30 AM – Trail Training (Optional)

  • Friday | 6:30 AM – Swim, Recovery, or Rest Day

SEPT 12-14 | Immersion Final Event

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • No special gear is required for training sessions. Details about what to bring for the final immersion will be shared during the program.

  • We ask that if you choose to participate in FORGED Together programming that you are able to commit to at least 90% of the in-person training sessions, held daily Monday - Thursday.

  • Cohorts of 15 individuals will be training together during the 6-week period for each FORGED TOGETHER program.
